Toddler Thomas lands a plum first job
Santa has come early for Greenslopes toddler Thomas after he and mum Michelle won a national competition to become toyologists. The duo beat hundreds of other applicants to take out the ‘‘mum and bub’’ category of the competition, which was run by toy manufacturer Mattel.
They will now test and review toys for the next 12 months, with the first batch arriving later this month. Ms Walmsley said they won after she submitted a review of her son’s favourite toy, the ‘‘learning door’’. ‘‘At the moment he is a big an of anything with music and lights,’’ she said. ‘‘We’re extremely excited to win and now we’ll never be bored.’’
